We continue to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on our schools and communities. AIMS will update this page as new information becomes available.

  

Below are resources that we hope you will find helpful.


The most comprehensive and most applicable resources for our schools are coming out of the National Association of Independent Schools.  

 

NAIS COVID-19 Resources for Independent Schools provides webinars, toolkits, surveys, tips and guidelines for handling the impact of COVID-19 in schools. 

 

NAIS Guidance for Schools includes the following topics and more!

 

NAIS Sharing Solutions allows schools to share strategies and ideas as they evolve in real time. 

 

The Centers for Disease Control have extensive resources on COVID-19.

 

Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health COVID-19 Resources provide expert tracking, insights, news, and resources on COVID-19.  

 

Maryland State Government on COVID-19 testing   and test site information. 

 

Maryland Department of Health dashboard provides daily updates on COVID-19 in Maryland; also includes FAQs from around the state.

 

DC Government and Mayor Muriel Bowser provide updates on the situation in the nation's capital, including statistics, testing information, and more! 

 

U.S Department of Education has resources for schools, students and families and provides links to other important documents and guides.

 

 

From Global Online Academy:

Everything here is focused on helping teachers and administrators think through how to continue the student and adult learning experience should a school have to go remote. Maryland Center for School Safety provides safety protocols and reminders during COVID, especially with regard to cyberbullying, mental health and emergency planning.
