John Hattie's mantra, "know thy impact," will be the subtext of this workshop. Classrooms should not be a place where students come to merely remember; they should be places where children come to think. In this workshop, Kevin Costa will lead participants through the practical thinking routines developed by researchers at Harvard Project Zero and share experience and best practices so that we can better understand our impact on student learning. This workshop will provide "Monday-Morning Ready" routines and strategies applicable to all grades and disciplines. Applicable Grades: K-12.
