To make change, we often focus on areas of weakness. This deficit-based approach to growth can affect self-esteem and motivation, giving rise to frustrations that serve to perpetuate a negative cycle.  This can be true at the individual and institutional levels. Instead, this workshop will present a research-based, character strengths-oriented framework to help faculty, students, and schools function at their highest potential. This strengths-based method will help all community members reach goals, problem solve, build relationships, and maximize achievement. Applicable Grades: 4-12. Lunch is included.
