Learn how to implement quick, easy, and free Professional Development through practicing Lesson Study and observation strategies. You'll have the opportunity to observe teachers in the classroom, engage with other educators, and tour the historic campus, plus leave with the tools to build a positive culture of professional development on campus. This workshop is applicable to all educators and administrators who wish to strengthen professional development opportunities in their own school. Applicable Grades: K-12. Lunch is included.


Presenters: Daphne Clyburn and Saint James Teachers, Saint James School

Daphne Clyburn began her teaching career at Eagle Rock School and Professional Development Center (Estes Park, Colorado) where she developed a passion for On-Campus Professional Development. At Saint James School, Daphne is the Professional Development Coordinator as well as a Spanish teacher, Dorm Head, and Varsity Field Hockey Coach. She recently completed a Master of Arts in Teaching a Second Language at Bennington College, Vermont.
