In this workshop, we'll discuss experiential education facilitation techniques designed to fit within and compliment the traditional classroom environment. The outcomes we'll focus on are two-fold; leadership skills and character development. Educators who are empowered with non-traditional yet MCDDRS (Maryland College & Career-Ready Standards) compliant learning methodologies can both ignite teens' interest in their own learning and affect life-long positive behavior. Participants are encouraged to dress in comfortable, active-style clothing that can be worn indoors and outside. Applicable Grades: 8-12. Lunch is included.
