On August 13th, AIMS, in partnership with the Higher Learning Group, will hold the first group planning meeting for the 2020 Baltimore Student Leadership Diversity Conference. 


The Conference will be held in November 2020 and this year, due to COVID-19, in-person meeting limitations and school regulations, the program will be held VIRTUALLY.  

 

We need strong participation from AIMS school faculty and staff.  We also ask that AIMS personnel encourage and invite students to be part of this planning team, especially those interested in equity and diversity work. 

 

This is a great opportunity for leadership development.    We need everyone's input to make this a great conference - especially as we move into a new virtual platform!  

 

Please note: 

  1. The August 13th meeting will run from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm with breaks throughout the day. 
  2. Faculty, staff and students:  By registering and attending this meeting, you are indicating that you will be involved with the BSLDC planning team August through the November event. 
  3. Monthly planning meetings will be held with the planning group and full participation will be expected.

  • AIMS Faculty and staff will register by logging in to their AIMS account and using the "REGISTER" button on this event page.  
  • This event page is for FACULTY AND STAFF ONLY (interested students have their own page - see link below)
  • Please plan to register by August 11th so that we have time to send you the meeting agenda. 
  • Spaces are limited (only 10 faculty and staff and 30 students spots are available). 
  • We ask AIMS faculty and staff assist in registering interested students.  The student registration will be completed at this link
  • Please do NOT register students on this page - they have a separate registration form
  • If you are a faculty and staff member at an AIMS member school and you do not have an AIMS account (which is needed for event registration), please go to www.aimsmddc.org, click on "Haven't registered yet?" and create an account)
