Come join us for a hands-on workshop as we explore ways to integrate coding and robotics into a literacy block. Ways to intentionally implement coding alongside reading and writing workshop will be shared. Participants will learn how to use robotics and coding to strengthen language arts and reading instruction through hands-on applications. In addition, learn how to use coding and robotics to enhance and deepen understanding of writing mechanics, structure, and craft.

AIMS Members: $15 (through September 19th) or $25 (After September 19th)
NON AIMS Members: $35 (through September 19th) or $45 (After September 19th)

Please note that NO REFUNDS will be issued for cancellations for this class after September 23rd.

Presenter Info:

Sarah Allen is a first grade teacher and holds her M.Ed. in Learning and Technology. She was the 2017 International Society for Technology in Education's Kay L. Bitter Vision Award winner and has presented at many national conferences on blended learning, coding, and robotics.

Ab Bear is a Lower School Mathematics and STEM teacher with his M.Ed. in Mathematics. Ab has exprience teaching both in the United States and abroad. He currently teaches coding to students in grades 4 to 6.
