Achieving goals for yourself and others: The why, what, and how of goal setting
Have you struggled to create or break habits that would improve your effectiveness? Are you frustrated with colleagues or supervisees who do not meet your expectations? This interactive workshop will provide steps to setting meaningful and achievable goals for yourself and also for helping others to achieve goals. Participants will have an opportunity to learn from one another as they work on their own specific goals. 

AIMS Members: $25 (through January 29th) or $35 (After January 29th)
NON AIMS Members: $45 (through January 29th) or $55 (After January 29th)

Speaker Bio:
Brooke Carroll began her career working with children and youth leading camping and expedition groups as a teenager and subsequently worked in schools and therapeutic settings for over 30 years. She moved into a leadership role in 1997 when she helped to start (as Associate Head of School) the Boston University Charter School, a residential program for youth in the care of Social Services. She has served as the Educational Director for five Job Corp centers, and Director of Residential Life at Sandy Spring Friends School. Most recently, Brooke lead Seneca Academy as Head of School for nine years. Brooke has served on three Boards of Trustees in a variety of roles and has engaged in several accreditation processes as both a participant and an evaluator. She has led numerous workshops and training sessions with teachers, Boards of Trustees, and administrators. While at at Seneca Academy, she facilitated the authorization of the school as an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program World School. Dr. Carroll earned her bachelor’s degree from Bates College and her Master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Minnesota.
