The Model Notice of Special Enrollment Rights

This is a reminder to include the attached model notice of “Special Enrollment Rights” in your new hire benefit enrollment materials. On or before the time an employee is offered the opportunity to enroll in the plan, the plan must provide the employee with a description of special enrollment rights. Providing this notice is essential to ensuring our compliance with ERISA and HIPAA regulations.
