This moderated panel discussion delves into the nuances in the admissions process across multiple institutions. We address the differences in admissions procedures, need-based verses merit based aid (and how the former may actually net a higher award sometimes), and other topics. Seasoned admissions professionals from Loyola University, Maryland Institute College of Art, University of Maryland and University of Pennsylvania will walk us through recent admissions trends they are seeing, and discuss the importance of each of the standard admissions pieces: grades (gradeless transcripts?), testing (are averages shifting?), recommendations, extra-curriculars (how much emphasis is truly on this), essays and interviews.

AIMS Members: $25 (through October 3rd) or $35(After October 3rd)
NON AIMS Members: $50  (through October 3rd) or $60 (After October 3rd)
Please note that NO REFUNDS will be issued for cancellations for this class after October 6th.
