Description:
Building comprehensive service learning programs that support the mission of our schools is no easy task. Join us as we explore strategies to enhance the quality of community outreach in your school, and identify community partnerships that will benefit your students. You will hear from local non-profit directors, service learning coordinators, and community leaders. The goal of the day is to celebrate and share programs at your school, while walking away with a plan of action. Applicable Grades: 6-12. 
 
Presenter: Lynne Kahn, Baltimore Hunger Project; Jayna Powell, Paul's Place; Jay Parker, Calvert School; Rommel Loria, Park School of Baltimore 
Lynne Kahn is the Founder and Executive Director of Baltimore Hunger Project, Jayna Powell is the Volunteer Coordinator at Paul's Place, Jay Parker is the Director of Student Life at Calvert School and Rommel Loria is the Director of Civic Engagememt and Service Learning at Park School of Baltimore.
 
Location and Parking: Middle School; Park in front of building

 

AIMS Member Fee: $45, $55 after 9/14/17

Non-Member Fee: $65, $75 after 9/14/17
