This Performing Arts Gathering will have separate strands for Dance, Band/Orchestra, Drama and Choral Arts. It will also include a lunch and some informal time.
Participants should bring 25 copies of their schedules and past programs. At a gathering earlier this year, we spend a lot of time talking about schedules and how they worked, so we thought it would be nice if everyone brought 25 copies of their schedules for others to see and take home.
9:30-10am: Welcome and Introductory
10-12am: General Question Session:
Curbing downward trends of enrollment in band/arts
Student motivation for kids who aren't interested in the arts
How do students juggle multiple arts/etc? How do you deal with limited space? How do you balance arts activities with ATHLETICS?
