Middle School educators will learn to create, format, publish, and deliver instructions using an eTextbook using iBooks Author (on a Mac computer). By examining eTexts created by fellow educators across disciplines, participants will see the engaging and interactive 3D format which caters to many learning styles of middle school students (ages 11-13). eText’s are an easily differentiated instructional tool to meet the needs of both students and teachers. Additionally, eTexts can be created and shared by students themselves and administrators. Applicable Grades: 6-8. Lunch is included.
