Award winning Port Discovery Children's Museum hosts a lower school private exploration tour. Interact first hand with Port Discovery's simulated real life experiences. Activities link to STEM, Common Core Standards, and the Reading Readiness program. This visit is applicable to Pre-K to 5th grade.

Be sure to wear sneakers, dress comfortably, and bring pen and paper. Ladies may want to replace purses with a fanny pack so you are free to explore. Tour will include a scavenger hunt, small workshop, and discussion groups. Learning Specialists are encouraged to come. Bring a snack, bottled drink or cash for vending machines.

Teachers who attend will be able to register children for a grant-supported educational field trip. (Grant money is awarded to Maryland students only. Special prices are offered to out-of-state schools). Make sure you bring your school calendar to schedule a field trip!! Port Discovery loves questions - so please bring them with you.
