This hands-on workshop will first give you all the details you need to get started with 3D printing at your school: ABS or PLA? Makerbot or Cubify? 3D scanning? And what is all that painter's tape for?! Bring all your questions to be answered. Then we'll  explore the ways in which 3D printing can be meaningfully integrated into the curriculum and with multiple disciplines. Examples of 3D printing work and lessons from classes at The Bryn Mawr School will be shown, and participants will have the opportunity to see the 3D printing process in action. Applicable Grades: 5-12

Location Details: Howell Computer Lab. Parking available on Boxhill Lane. Walk down Melrose Avenue to the first left. Follow signs to Howell Computer Lab. A few spaces are available on Melrose Avenue.
