Prepare your students for the challenging task of crafting sophisticated, organized, thought-provoking essays. As students enter upper elementary school, the ability to clearly and effectively convey knowledge becomes increasingly important. Participants of this workshop will dissect mentor texts in order to determine what makes an essay exemplary. This will guide us as we create inquiry-based lessons that will enable children to express their thoughts in lucid, meaningful ways. You are encouraged to bring your laptop or electronic device for some hands-on activities. Applicable Grades: 3-8. Lunch included.
