Activities for Teaching Leadership, Cooperative Teamwork, and Creative Problem-Solving in K-8 PE

Many people view “Physical Education” as a two-dimensional program that focuses solely on physical fitness and sports skills. While fitness and skills are central to our mission, so too, is teaching the “whole child,” and PE provides the perfect venue for doing that. During this half-day workshop, you will learn strategies for multi-dimensional teaching that incorporates character education into every lesson. You will also experience “hands-on” games and activities that focus on cooperation, inclusion, and group problem-solving.
